Jessie Moberg's Projects

Note: All work listed and described here was completed as part of a larger team of design professionals. While I acted as Project Manager, overseeing these projects from conception through construction, my contributions would not have been possible without the collaboration of the full project teams.

Project Types

I’ve been fortunate to work across a wide range of project types throughout my career. From early explorations of light, shade, and materiality in Puerto Rico, to public work on Cape Cod, to a decade specializing in cannabis facilities, each sector has shaped my design approach and expertise. My experience includes:

Cannabis — 300+ projects over ten years across a dozen states, including cultivation, manufacturing, high-hazard extraction labs, R&D, testing, delivery, warehousing/secure storage, distribution, campus planning, social consumption, and medical/adult-use retail.

Public / Municipal — Projects completed through the DCAMM/MA public work process: town halls, fire and police stations, correctional renovations, school administration buildings and renovations, senior centers, a music pavilion, a harbormaster building, and museum improvements.

Lab & Healthcare — Building on my public-sector and cannabis experience, I’ve transitioned into healthcare and lab projects with ease—balancing complex regulations and coordination-heavy programs while designing environments that feel safe, welcoming, and human-centered.

Industrial & Manufacturing — Some of my favorite work: industrial facilities, manufacturing floors, warehouses, and large-scale storage. These projects demand reliability, flexibility, and highly functional planning, where form truly follows function.

Commercial — Broad experience in offices, restaurants, showrooms, micro-housing, and speculative commercial developments. The range of scale and program makes this sector endlessly adaptable and engaging.

Other — Additional experience includes private schools, LDS Church facilities, master plans and campus plans for commercial and industrial clients, high-end residences, boathouses, and even a family fun center with bumper boats and go-karts.
